Authoring Tab

The Authoring Tab shows the Authoring Pane. Here, you can combine and arrange iDevices in a screen oriented view. It is a WYSIWYG editor, wich allows you to merge your content onto a "page". You can place all iDevices on the pages displayed in the Authoring Pane, regardless of their content (text, images, tests, activities or multimedia iDevices).

Please note: eXeLearning is a tool for the compilation of instructionally prepared training modules - but it is NOT a web design tool! There are definite design limitations within eXeLearning. You will notice that you, for example, have only limited possibilities to arrange images in the Authoring Pane. These limitations are necessary to maintain the simplicity of this tool that allows even the web design layperson to produce educational content ready for web deployment.
